The Pika
Founder Kit

Pika just dropped a Founder Starter Kit that lives inside Claude. Connect it once, then run four skills in order to turn a product idea into a brand, app screens, a sizzle reel, and a founder video. Here's the exact setup.

Building a product has never been easier. The hard part now is making it look like a real company that people trust and want to buy from. Pika's new Founder Starter Kit handles that part, and it runs right inside Claude through the Pika MCP.

You describe your product in normal words and Pika builds the launch assets: your brand, your app store screenshots, a hype reel, and a founder video. This guide walks the exact setup, the four skills in the order to run them, and the honest costs so you know what you're getting into.

Setup Connect Pika to Claude (about a minute)

There are two pieces, and people miss the second one. The connector is the pipe between Claude and Pika. The plugin is what actually loads the four Founder Kit skills. You need both.

Part 1

Add the Pika connector

1. In Claude on the web, go to Settings → Connectors and click the + to add a custom connector.
2. Name it Pika and paste this URL: https://mcp.pika.me/api/mcp
3. Click Add → Connect. You'll create or sign into a Pika account during authorization.
4. Grant the tool permissions.

Part 2

Turn on the Founder Kit skills

1. Go to Customize → Personal plugins and add the marketplace plugin Pika-Labs/Pika-Plugins.
2. Toggle the Pika plugin on. Now the four skills are available.

Two things to know

It's web-only to set up. You can't add a custom connector from the iOS app, but it syncs to your phone once you've added it on the web. It's not free to generate. Pika runs on tokens from your Pika wallet, starting around $7.99 for 800 tokens. Cheap next to a designer, but plan for it.

The Kit The 4 Skills, In Order

The whole trick is running them in order, because each one builds on the last. Brand sets the identity, the screens inherit that identity, the reel is cut from those exact screens, and the founder video matches the same look. Run them out of order and your assets won't feel like one company.

Step 1

Build-a-Brand

Describe your product and Pika creates your whole identity: a name, colors, logo direction, and the overall vibe. This is the foundation everything else pulls from, so spend the most time getting this one right.

Step 2

App Screens

Turns your brand into App Store screenshots that are actually designed to convert, the polished mockups that make a product look real and downloadable.

Step 3

Product Sizzle

Takes those exact screens and cuts them into a roughly fifteen-second hype reel, the kind of fast, punchy promo you'd run as an ad or drop on your launch page.

Step 4

Founder Video

Makes a launch video starring you, the founder, the piece you'd use to pitch investors or introduce your product to your audience.

Reality Check What This Does And Doesn't Do

This hands you the entire launch kit that used to take a designer, an editor, and a few thousand dollars. That's the real value: building the product isn't the hard part anymore, looking like a company someone trusts is, and this closes that gap fast.

But be honest with yourself about what it isn't. Pretty branding and a sizzle reel don't make a business. You still need a product people actually want, a way to reach them, and a reason to buy. Think of this as a great starting line, not the finish.

Pro move

Generate two or three brand directions in Step 1 before you lock one in. Because every later skill inherits the brand, a stronger foundation makes the screens, reel, and video all hit harder, and you only pay tokens once for the version you keep going with.
